no problem my friend (and thank you!!!) honestly i don’t quite remember why i first started shipping them because it was 5+ years ago now but now i feel like they’d get along really really well! they share similar interests which always helps but i feel like their personalities would be really good together ;o; i’ll never forget the one (1) page of interaction between them where everyone had been making jake feel cruddy and then the first time he meets john he immediately has his mood boosted… john is so understanding and i feel like that would be very good for jakes low self esteem u_u
i feel like even as friends they could’ve had so much potential and been really close but even their first meeting was left so late in the comic it didn’t happen, and that was rlly all there was between them aside from the rabbit jake made for john and the letter he sent with it :^( my heart is forever broken!!! the letter always tricked me into thinking there would be more what with how excited jake was to meet him but no.. fool me once, shame on u hussie… fool me twice, also shame on u. they’re my otp and they got one page. yuo bitch
